What is Black Women Directors?

Black Women Directors is a digital archive and curated newsletter celebrating the brilliance, innovation, and legacy of Black women and non-binary filmmakers worldwide.

Each month, I share new film releases, screening updates, and festival and grant opportunities, as well as reflections on film and visual culture.

If you care about Black women’s art, independent film, and are looking for some film recommendations that are off the beaten path, you’re in the right place.
